CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Police in North Carolina have arrested a man who they say threatened to go to an elementary school to kill his ex-wife. A news release from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police on Tuesday said 37-year-old Isaac James Burch was arrested on a fugitive warrant from Michigan. The news release said Kannapolis police notified CMPD after receiving information that Burch was on his way to the state to kill his wife, who worked at Sterling Elementary School in Pineville. According to police, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police located a truck that Burch had been driving outside the hotel where he was located and took him into custody.
