Bookmark or Share- Zuma 125 questions - anyone Big Bore 155cc? | Adventure RiderGranted, I've no experience with a Zuma 125, much less a kitted one. Not been able to find hp ratings for one either but the motor is the same bore and stroke and the Agility but with only 10:1 compression to the Kymco's 11:1 which is rated at 9.25 hp. I'm guessing it would take almost 15 hp to go 65mph.
- Zuma 125 or Honda PCX or Honda ADV? - Adventure RiderThe Zuma is only a 125 but has a 4 valve head with variable valve timing so it seems to be comparable to most 150cc scooters. The bodywork on the PCX and ADV will make servicing more expensive or complicated if you do your own. The PCX and ADV have front wheel ABS. The Zuma doesn't have ABS.

The Ruckus is liquid cooled and a very high tech engine for being just 49.5cc. They are both very customizable for more speed or acceleration, just in different ways since one is 2 smoke and one 4 stroke.
- Zuma 125 difficult starting? - Adventure RiderThe Zuma 125 is notorious for a slow setting ECU and dramatic temperature changes can prevent the mixture from being proper for start up. Seems to have happened to several over at the Zuma forums. Sometimes the ECU reset works though and sometimes it does not.
- Zuma 125 difficult starting? | Page 2 | Adventure RiderThe Zuma ECU is a simple beast. the only thing the reset does is make the ECU clear values for the oxygen sensor and temp sensor. The fuel maps are fixed, so there is no "re-learning" that occurs. I tried resetting mine a dozen times before replacing the fuel pump the first time.
