Bookmark or Share- Yojimbo 2 edge angle? Anyone know? - BladeForums.comPicked up a second Yojimbo 2 for wifey. Mine's nicely loosened up/broken in, and I've sharpened it. However, my Work Sharp Guided Sharpening System only has guides going down to 17 DPS. So mine is now sharpened at a decidedly steeper angle than the original edge.

IMHO it is the utlimate Wharncliffe folder albeit 4 times the cost of a Yojumbo.

The ATKF was carried and as you can see from the photographs there are evidence of use. There is some discoloration on the blade. The knife is in good condition. No box or papers. The Yojimbo 2 is new in box.

Those with big hands (I have medium-sized hands) might find it a tad small. The Wharcliffe blade style excels at most tasks, but I still prefer the belly provided by a leaf-shaped or spear/clip point blade.
- My $200 knife quest defined. Yojimbo, Canis, or other wharncliff?I've owned the Yojimbo 2 twice, and it never fully clicked for me. Great design, and delightful in its intended Filipino grip. But the Canis is my favorite 2020 release. It clicks in every way the Yo2 didn't, from its surprising thinness to the perfect light texture on the CF/G10 to the funky blade. Between those two, there's no contest for me.
