Bookmark or Share- So, which X-com game is generally considered to be the best one? : r/XcomXCOM 2 WOTC is my favourite. The variety of classes and skills, procedural maps, and randomized strategy layer all give it much more replayability than EU/EW, and WOTC improves a lot of things over the base game, including fewer missions with timers. XCOM:Enemy within, Long War. The gameplay is still best.

Xcom 1 with dlc is a good second choice if the price is that different. 2 has more replay value than one, more challenging if you want it to be, more refined gameplay. Personally I wasn't really a fan of any of the dlc for 2 though. Base xcom 2 is the best in my opinion.
