- 48re issue with 2/3 shift - Pirate 4x4Hey guys, I have a goerend built 48re in my 2004.5 Dodge that has seen 140,000 trouble free miles. But, just yesterday I noticed that only under mid throttle and pulling my tool trailer (5500 lb) it seems to rev slightly just before the shift from 2nd to 3rd.
