- why did Microsoft rewards made such a terrible change to lower points ...This is not an answer to the question. Everyone knows that the company's Terms and Conditions allow it do make such changes, but the question here is why they have done it. I mean, if the goal is to leave customers less engaged with Microsoft, then it is a legit move.
