I'm finding that I like the lower output PAF's like the Seymour Duncan Antiquity set. I really love the Burstbuckers in my R8, but I need 4 conductor for the coil taps on the McCarty. Would the Whole Lotta Humbucker set meet these needs?

- Saturday night special or Whole lotta humbucker | The Gear PageI have the Whole Lotta Humbuckers in my Hamer. In fact, my Hamer is the one in the Seymour Duncan video. These pickups will DEFINITELY get rid of the neck mud, despite being hotter than most PAF-style pickups. I can't stand dark neck pickups and the only PAF-style pickups that I typically like are the really low output models in the 7k range.

- Navigating the sea of Duncan Alnico II humbuckersI love Alnico II pickups as well, but for some reason, I just haven’t been able to get the JB/Jazz pickups to sound good enough to bump my 57 Classics. In my earlier years, I preferred higher output pickups, so naturally, the JB seemed like the best of both worlds, but alas, it just doesn’t seem to inspire as much as I’d like.
