Istari light would have destroyed him in one hit, end of. I mean, word of power and the idiot Witch-king blown to smithereens. The movie world loves a hype, but truth is the Witch-king got beaten by normal steel and a woman.

Archenland, for instance, never ceased to exist and was populated by humans.
