Bookmark or Share- Viessmann Vitodens 100-W trouble maintaining temperatureViessmann tech replaced the plate heat exchanger. Second Viessmann tech replaced the pump, which did not help. Third Viessmann tech ran some decalcifying acid through the entire unit for hours with a pressure pump from flow to return and then recommended to replace the main heat exchanger due to calcification.
- Viessmann Vitodens 100 vs 200? — Heating Help: The WallThe price difference between the two is around $1k-2k. Both have ~95% efficiency, but does that assume the 100 can achieve that efficiency with a stable gas quality while the 200 can achieve that even when the gas quality fluctuates because of the Lamda pro? I am wondering if it's worth paying more for the 200. Thanks!

Are ...But you can definately hedge your bets that because Viessmann uses what is arguably the most robust grade of stainless available for both the coil AND the tank combined with known high quality manufacturing procedures, you can get that it'll probably outlive you in reasonable/comparable operating conditions to another.
