Thinking of getting one for ADS-B, as it has an R820T2, LNA, 1090MHz filter, .5ppm TCXO, and aluminum housing. Also considering their orange dongle for AIS and general reception. Same specs but no 1090MHz filter.
- SMA connections on SDR Dongles | RadioReference.com ForumsThere is mention of the old dongles with the F series 75 ohm impedance connector on the RTL-SDR page that "using 50 Ohm cabling on a 75 Ohm input will be very minimal at less than 0.177 dB" loss. I have the v3 dongle with the webpage states has the 50 ohms impedance. Hopefully that 0.177 dB loss is the same.
- SDR# Issues with NooElec / RTL-SDR.com on new Win10 PCI only have 1 dongle plugged in at a time. I've moved the dongles around the USB ports using both 2.0 and 3.0 ports on my computer. All ports are connected to USB Headers on my motherboard and are not on expansion boards or routed through hubs (fyi). Zadig drivers were reinstalled countless times.
