- Crush Washer Size for Oil Drain Plug - Soviet SteedsUral crush washers ate 14mm. I like to use the copper ones with a rubber seal/insert in the center for a sure seal. Crush washers are available at most auto part stores, mounted on a card in the oil section (naturally!) The copper are the most expensive, but before reusing, you heat them up, and they plump out to their former glory.
