Bookmark or Share- Suggestions on where to take tween/teen for makeup training?See, there are no makeup artists at my Sephora or Ulta or the makeup counters at the mall. It is just mostly girls in their teens with bad attitudes and too much paint on their faces. I'd love to work with a real makeup artist. Now that I think of it, I usually shop on weekends. I wonder if I'd have better luck at 11 AM on a Tuesday??
- Is there something wrong with a 40something wearing Sperrys?I have a pair of sparkly black Sperrys and get tons of compliments on them. The very first time I wore them, I walked into an Ulta store to buy cool stuff for my 15 year old and one of the cute, chic young women who worked in there walked up to point out that she had the exact same pair of shoes on her feet.
- Those super pricey shampoos and conditioners-- Prose, Virtue, Monat etcBiolage makes a shampoo for colored hair that is the bet I have used for maintaining the color after I dye it, but I always cringe at the price ($15+ for a small bottle). I snagged a really giant bottle of it for $10 at Ulta’s post-Christmas sale this year and now I have enough to last probably a full year.
