Bookmark or Share- Typhon - First RC car which should I go for? Typhoon 3s vs 6s vs Kraton ...The slipper system and motor mounts are a nuisance. Not sure where Team Corally products fit in your plans, but you might want to take a look at 4s Radix or 6s Python as a durable buggy platform that will be better than the 3s Typhon and just as good as a 6s Typhon. I feel that either the 6s Typhon or Python would be a solid choice.
- Typhon - In all seriousness, competitive buggy? - ARRMA RC ForumThe Typhon would fall into 1/8 scale buggys , and IMO all the race kits are far ahead of design VS. the TLR Typhon . For the record I have a TLR Typhon , and while it does have a bunch of better parts and means of adjustments compared to a RTR Typhon , it wouldn't be my choice for a race rig . Tekno / Losi / Xray would be the best choices .
- Typhon battery size - ARRMA RC ForumIve had zero issues with it after 5 runs but to fellow typhon users beware of that turnigy battery. Being in a sling at the moment it took a 20 min job and become hours long for me to accomplish. Though the extra voltage is definitely noticed for the first few laps and im achieving probably close to 20min run time on my track with the stock 14t ...
- Grom - Just cant leave anything stock... | ARRMA RC ForumMy Typhon BLX Grom arrived beginning of the week, and couldn't wait to change things on it I got the one without the battery since I was planning on ditching the smart batteries anyway like my Mojave and Granite, so first up was replacing the stock connector to a Deans. Next was to get the shocks up to snuff.
