- Tualatin river frustrations - IFish Fishing ForumSlow bends in the river that have deeper holes are more likely to hold more fish. Fish structure with plastics rigged as weedless as you can get them. I cant remember the exact river mile but there is a stretch up river a ways that has significantly better fishing than anything lower in my experience. maybe 10-12 miles or more up.

- Tualatin River smallmouth - IFish Fishing ForumIn general when I fish the Tualatin I tend to use inexpensive lures since it is a very grabby river. Shaky heads or slider heads with some type of soft plastic (twisty tail, brush hog, worm, etc) produce well and get through a lot of the stuff. Another lure I use a lot in the Tualatin is a beetle spin type of lure.
- Tualatin River??? - IFish Fishing Forumyes since you are in sherwood you should go down to the tualiton city park and fish for small mouths and large mouths or dive down river a little ways and there is a better park that is just across I-5 and there is dock you have to walk in aways but just fish for large mouth there people do well plunking worms. there are also good size cats in there. just use worms.
