Bookmark or Share- Can Anyone Explain TNG era Main Crew Positions - The Trek BBSTNG focused mostly on the officers, and the Master Chief Petty Officer (I'm not sure his/her rank) would probably have handled the evaluations of enlisted crewmembers. that doesn't sound like much of a job, but for hundreds of officers and 1,000 enlisted personnel, that could almost be a full-time occupation.
- Am I crazy for saying that TNG is the best show of ALL time of any TV ...It's the only show I've ever bought the complete series of on disc (Blu-ray, in this instance). Sure, I love me some Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Seinfeld, Cheers, Breaking Bad, The Twilight Zone, The Wire and OF COURSE TOS and DS9, but there's just something about TNG that no other show can hold a candle towards IMHO.
- No Vulcan main characters in TNG and DS9 | The Trek BBSThe core TNG cast are basically reworkings of the Phase II/TMP characters, since Roddenberry recyled ideas a lot. Picard is the older, seasoned Kirk. Picard is the older, seasoned Kirk. Will Riker is Will Decker, the younger action lead and protege of the veteran captain.

- Best TNG books? - The Trek BBSWhich isn't actually a TNG novel, it's just branded that way because they figured that would sell better than if they just called it a Starfleet Academy novel. It crosses over with all three 24th-century series -- perhaps somewhat more with TNG than the others -- but it focuses mainly on its original group of characters.
