An "expert" at one high end audio shop emphatically answers 8", while another "expert" at a different shop emphatically says 6". I don't know who to believe. Unfortunately, I can't find any...
- Receiver 4 or 6 Ohm Setting | Audioholics Home Theater ForumsI know this has been discussed somewhere on this forum but I will ask again. In my receiver's speaker setup menu I have the option of six or four Ohm operation, I have been using the six Ohm mode, should I continue to use this or select four Ohm, I believe the answer is to stay with the six Ohm, but I would like to hear confirmation from you guys.
- Does anyone use 6.1 surround sound anymore? (instead of 5.1 or 7.1)?Seems from what I've read the last few years support for 6.1 is disappearing, some avrs would have you connect a particular rear surround speaker if you only had one, think each of my (pre Atmos) avrs have that but I've never used it, think it has you connect to the left rear/back surround terminal to use.
- PSA subwoofers. I talked with Tom - Audioholics Home Theater ForumsThe v1812s are now being sold as ev1812s. Tom said it would be awhile before the website gets updated. I did ask about the 2112 and he said it was not quite 2 of the 1812 as far as output goes.
