The bigger shots like the Sicily opening with all the little people on screen naturally look weird since the AI tries to sharpen people fan away and they turn out blocky, and there’s some smoothing of faces with the guys coming to get Vito, but so far so good

But HBO put together the godfather epic which put 1 and 2 in chronological order and included all deleted scenes. Epic is what everyone seems to be looking for but unfortunately can't find.
- The Godfather Epic : r/Godfather - RedditI think he preferred the theatrical release(As do most people!), but the "Epic" is a chronological version of part 1 & 2 and it doesn't include his "Coda". Hopefully, the executives at Paramount will include it in the 50th anniversary box sets, and also make available to rent or purchase for digital streaming.
