Bookmark or Share- Discussion of our review of The Exorcist 4K Blu-Ray | AVForumsI really didn't spot the softness in the exorcism scene, though if I'd read this first I probably would have The only bit that looked really bad to me was the subway scene with all those overblown lights on the platform and the train. Oh and the fuzzy zoom into Georgetown just after the intro scene.

Friedkin apparently used filters during production, but the difference in detail and grain resolution across this final climactic scene to the rest of the film is stark and to be honest, off-putting.
