Bookmark or Share- BB for ducks - Duck Hunting Forum:huh: If you think the guys shooting T at geese are unwise then what about BB on ducks? Given the BB load only has 30% more pellets than the T load and a duck is like half or a third the size of a goose. Shooting ducks with BB is like shooting geese with TTT minus a 1/8 oz. or more of load as far as pattern density for a clean kill.
- TSS shot sizes for ducks - Duck Hunting ForumIf I was only seeing ducks, I'd probably use #8, but the geese sometimes sneak up on us and it's nice having the flexibility of the #7 shot on bigger birds. I also loaded up some ITX10 #6 and ITX13 #6, but clearly saw by mid season that TSS hits the bigger birds significantly harder than either type of ITX.
- Pluck or Breast Clean Ducks? - Duck Hunting ForumFor pheasant I skin it making it look like a chicken you buy at the store pre-cooked and then cut the breasts off, and whatever else is on the bone. But to start you breast it, peel the skin all the way down then go from there. Much easier then plucking and you might lose 10%. Pheasants are much larger then ducks though so its a bit more worth it.

So when you set up remember, wind at your back they will be at your back first most often before they turn to come in for a landing.

Banquet Games? - Duck Hunting Forumwe are having our annual ducks unlimited banquet this weekend and i was woundering if any one had any suggestions on some clever but simple games. we have just some of the simple regular games but i guess what im really woundering is can anyone tell me some games that worked real well for them or just any ideas would be appriciated.
