If this was a show car I might consider going with tubular control arms but the car is a bit rough so I just want it to run and ride like a stock car.

My rears had both cracked by 24k miles despite never hitting a pothole. The only long term solution are aftermarket forged or semi forged wheels. Buying GM wheels is throwing good money at bad design.

I had kept my '17 C7Z06 with 2650 Maggie as is hard to beat how much fun it is to drive and there are still people who don't thin the C8 looks like a Corvette.

Otherwise, for now I have Bilstein HDs in front (B6) with 550 springs, Bilstein Sports in the rear (B8) with a composite spring in my 80. I feel like I wasted my time with this, though, and should have done semi coil-overs years ago.
- Electrical problem - CorvetteForum - Chevrolet Corvette Forum DiscussionIf you are having a battery drain and there is no evidence of a short, then I would investigate all non-linear circuit elements in the car, anything that is a semi conductor. the voltage regulator on the alternator is a common culprit. try disconnecting your alt and see if the drain goes away.
