Bookmark or Share- Is my house on a looped supply? | Speak EV - Electric Car ForumsJust to confirm my house is the end terrace of 3 with no other propeties near by. Built 2007. I'm guessing all three are probably connected and I'm house 1 on the loop. If the charger can regulate its output and lower it based on how much power is being used surely that needs to take into account how much the neighbours are using aswell then?

Also the cost of digging the road to install induction charging and link it to your house electricity supply will be massively expensive.

- BBC News Terraced House Charging | Speak EV - Electric Car ForumsI am fortunate to have a Polar rapid within 2 miles of my house which makes charging pretty cheap, but having the option of even a 6 Amp/ 1.5kW AC charge close to my house would make life a lot easier compared to making a special trip 2-3 times a week. The biggest issue with not having a home charger, is when you return from a long journey.
