I'm British, and in general it's a bit "odd" to me. I myself would always use "on" for phone numbers. To me, "through" works with "my sister", "the office" - because they're intermediaries, but I can't see a simple number as an intermediary. –

The only reason it should even matter to the reader is if calls to mobile phones cost more than calls to landline phones in your country, and even then if you're only providing one number they don't have any choice but to use that number.
