On 29 Sep 1784 John Teasley received 200 acres of land in Wilkes County, GA for his service in the Revolutionary War.In that year John and Silas moved to Wilkes county, although Silas did not get his 200 acre grant until 1790. William Teasley may not have moved with John and Silas, but arrived in Georgia at about the same time. More @Wikipedia
