I put 60% ceramic on the windshield and 30% all the way around including the roof on my model 3 and am going to do the same with my model Y. In overhead bright sun holding my hand about 6 inches from the roof felt very warm but after the ceramic was applied the heat from the roof was significantly reduced.
- Would you recommend the Tesla Model Y All-Weather Interior Liners?Update: I got my Tasmanian mats put them down. They're very stiff so I think they're plastic and not rubber but they look just like the Tesla mats and I was able to get the front, back, frunk, trunk and under the trunk for a very reasonable price(I think around $260) compared to the Tesla which you have to buy separately and would cost upwards of $300 for everything.
- Model Y Floor Mats | Tesla Motors ClubI haven't seen the Tesla OEM mats in person to do a direct comparison; they look comparable to the set I got from Tesmanian. a couple things I noticed: the Tasmanian rear mats have a slightly higher lip in front and their trunk/cargo bed mat has a crease in the middle to allow it to fold up easier when accessing the sub-trunk space.
