Side to side sway is controlled by the upper Y shaped control arm. attached to two body points and the single ball joint at the top of the rear axle's differential housing. When the rear upper control arm bushings and ball joint are shot -> instant "rear steer"!

- Sway Bar Link Replacement Bolt (Standard)? - Jeep Enthusiast ForumsThe sway bar link itself is shot - broke right below the ball joint so I'm not worried about ruining the bushing as the whole like is going to be replaced. I don't know anyone with a sawzall. Maybe I will try the Dremel and see how that goes. If not, I guess I'll have to take it somewhere to get it cut off.
