Stutthof was the first Nazi concentration camp to be established on Polish soil and the last to be dissolved. The camp expanded from 4 to 120 hectares, from 250 prisoners to a maximum of 52,000 prisoners and the SS staff and guards numbered 1,056 at January 1, 1945. More @Wikipedia
