Bookmark or Share- Why isn't McIntosh more prevalent in Sterophile's "Recommended" list ...I don't know why Stereophile doesn't recommend these components. Maybe it has to do with advertising, as some have suggested, and maybe it has to do with how established Mac is as a brand. I mean, it is fun to learn about much smaller specialty brands via Stereophile and they tend to cover these small volume manufacturers much more closely.

The case in the bottom is an old steel bread box I use to store things like needle nose pliers, hex screw drivers, hex bolts and nuts, protractors, a VTF scale, VTA/azimuth adjustment block, bubble levels, etc... almost everything I use for cartridge mounting and setup.
- My Humble review of the Benchmark DAC3 and Topping D90SEYeah I don’t know man. I agree. Measurements are very valuable for some things and I believe them. But in the end , my ears decide for me what I am going to listen to.
- Who has compared Schiit Vidar vs Aegir? - Steve Hoffman Music ForumsSupposedly there is an Aegir review in the latest Stereophile issue of recommended components. Stereophile rates the Aegir Amp as class A. I know Stereophile reviews are generally paid for by advertising dollars, but they put Aegir in their highest class of amplifiers along with Mark Levinson and the like.
