Bookmark or Share- My thoughts on the Steelcase Gesture vs Herman Miller AeronThe gesture wins this category by effect of the Aeron not even having one. Most of the reviews of the Gesture I read spoke very highly of the headrest, however I feel its probably the weakest point of the Gesture in my opinion. Although it does the job, when you put too much pressure onto the headrest it does like to creak and push back.

If both are properly broke in, the Gesture is the much more firm chair. In fact, it's probably the most firm chair on the market. Yes, out of the box the ferns seat is very firm but this is temporary. The Gesture weighs 72.8 pounds, the Fern is 57 pounds.
