- Update: State Farm Drone Insurance - DJI Mavic, Air & Mini Drone CommunityI am a Part 107 holder, but at this time, for many reasons I fly recreationally 90+% of the time and stick to the recreationally rules when doing so. The way I see it, as I have State Farm insurance too, I acknowledge that they only cover recreational flight. So were I to have a crash flying recreationally I would have no issue filing a claim.

In case of a crash into water, these give you a million percent chance of finding and recovering you drone to be able to file a claim than anything else on the market. #BarNone

Probably cheaper than DJI as well. If anyone can get a 3rd party insurance, WHY would you get the more expensive and less covered DJI Refresh?
