Named after James the Less, one of Christ’s Twelve Apostles, St James’s Park is the oldest of the 8 Royal Parks in London. Bounded by The Mall to the north, Horse Guards to the east and Birdcage Walk to the south the park is at the centre of three royal palaces. More @Wikipedia
