Bookmark or Share- Spectre Elite Overview - Radar Detector & Countermeasure ForumYesterday I sat down with the Spectre Elite and the manual to get familiar with the design and operation of the Spectre. I plan on doing a bunch of testing with it and wanna know about all the features and how to use it properly of course. Here's a quick overview of the Spectre and what all the different switches and dials do.

The Spectre should be fitted to allow a clear view of the road ahead and behind. Remember any obstruction to the front receiving horn will reduce the effective range of the unit. Once switched on turn the knob fully clockwise. The Spectre will self-test for approx. 1-2 seconds.
