Bookmark or Share- Help finding hydrolic check and fill plugs on Ford 5000 ... - TractorByNetford 5000. Call it what you want,it's called "selecto-matic",and has no clutch,only a dump valve.And there is no plug on the axle housing,or trumpet.There are about five different plugs on the right side of the tranny.Just need to know which is which.Thanks for the info though. The Rotella-T 15w-40 help with the sulphur in the HWY fuel (don't use enough to get NonHwy fuel). The problem I was having was the service manual just said higher than CC.
- Adjusting steering wheel play - TractorByNetBleeding generally consists of turning the wheel back and forth going to each end of the wheel travel multiple times. That may get some of the play out if its being caused by air pockets. Otherwise, you will need to watch and see where the play is being introduced. Aaron Z. - I Need To Know How To Time Ferguson TO-20 - TractorByNetEngine should start then set timing with a timing light. When you pull the cap made sure you have 9 volts or more on both sides of the points with the points closed. You have a 12volt system I'm guessing, but a standard point system runs on 9 volts. - Ford 8N having trouble starting - TractorByNetTry hand choking it. Open the the throttle all the way and put your hand over the carb inlet and crank it with the key off.
