DIMMs are the memory modules you see inside desktop computers. They are relatively larger in size than the SODIMM and MicroDIMM modules. These are 133.35 mm (5.25 inches) in length. DIMMs started out with a 100-pin configuration – the copper connectors you see toward the bottom of the modules. More @Wikipedia
