Bookmark or Share- How is everyone storing/organizing recovery gear?My flashlights are always near me. Other recovery gear, like my tree-saver, soft shackles, tie-down straps, a tow rope, GLOVES and a few other things are in a bag under the back seat, so I can always get to them no matter the circumstance (like stuck in a snow bank or up against a tree).
- Snow Tires | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392 ...K02's are great in actual snow, but a dedicated winter like the Hakka will do better on ice or slick pavement. My previous vehicle I ran both Blizzak DM-V2 winters and then LT-rated K02's, one winter on each. Definitely preferred the K02 when there was actual snow on the ground, but the Blizzak's were better in icy conditions by a significant ...

Used it during a storm where we had a 2 inch per hour snow fall, and they were fine. Plow packs and all. I certainly wouldn't be afraid to rock those in the winter at all! I really don't think I have any bad experiences in the snow with M/Ts.
- New to forum, not to Jeeps! | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU ...Right off: I am not an extreme Jeepist, I use it for around town driving for fun! And sometimes in extreme snow. History: Bought a Grand Cherokee V8 in '96, then a TJ in '04. Just sold the TJ last week and picked up a new JL! I hoped the TJ would last forever but in NE winters the salt spray is just too much after 20 years. Sadly it had to go.
