Bookmark or Share- 5 months old always waking up screaming - What to ExpectIt's usually if I'm not there when she wakes up or if she isn't sure of where she is. Sometimes, I think it's nightmares. Usually, it's just that she's not where she was when she went to sleep. She will open her eyes just long enough to turn around and cry hysterically. I just pick her up and sssshhhhh her and bounce up and down.
