Bookmark or Share- What's your favorite effect pedal for saxophone?I get what you’re saying about preferring a clean sound and share the same opinion about my sax sound. I also play regularly in situations where I don’t always want or need to have even a saxophone sound at all…effects are just colors. regarding guitars vs saxes on stage though…you mention the amp’s overdrive and room ambiance for reverb.

It was possible to make a saxophone in USA in the late 90's with using old tools. Lots of bad writings and attitudes against UMI over the years. They killed the great American brands and saxophone makers.
