- Sansui 771 - Audiokarma Home Audio Stereo Discussion ForumsThe Sansui 771/881 use the same Driver Circuit Board (PN: F-2436) as several other Sansui receivers. Other than some different components the boards are virtually identical. The 771/881 units were earlier and the 8080/9090 units later. The QRX 6001 and 7001 also used the same Driver Circuit Board (PN: F-2436).

I was looking for an 881 and found this 9010. It is identical to the 881 except for the different designation and the black out panels on the face plate. The 881/9010 shares some features with it’s bigger brothers the 8080 and 9090.
- A review, one of the last good vintage Sansui receivers for posterity ...That said, I don't believe this was the last line of decent receivers from Sansui. I have a Z-5000X that sounds very good, and an S-X1200 that has a toroidal transformer and the big Sanken output transistors, and sounds very good as well. The Z-#000X series were mostly plastic with metal knobs, but had great sound and were made in Japan.
