Between those two sizes, I would definitely go with the 285/65/18, which would measure out to roughly 32.6" tall and 11.2" wide. That tire would definitely work on the 4.5" backspaced wheel.

Wanted the 3.6 engine as my son who worked turning wrenches for a Jeep dealer said the 3.8 was crap ( his words were different) lol I had a shot at a 2006 TJU but honestly at my age and having had a TJ,YJ and M38A1 i wanted the more comfortable ride the JK offers.

The side steps actually work as such, plus protect the sides of the Jeep from flying debris. I also prefer Sahara’s painted fenders: they are much easier to clean, and IMO look much better.
