- did anyone have a bad ROTC experience but do a lot better as a real ...A bad ROTC experience doesn't necessarily mean a bad officer. The training you get after ROTC has more impact then the basic soldiering tasks at lab etc. At least imo. The OCS staff said that performance in the training environment has no correlation with how good or bad of an officer someone will be. They were right.

I can just barely pass the PT test, but I have the Determination to improve.
