Bookmark or Share- Roborock S5 Max wasn't spraying water; fixed by replacing ... - RedditI've had my Roborock S5 Max for a couple years (I love it) and randomly the mopping feature stopped working- no water was coming out. I read all the reddit posts and forum posts, cleaned all the water ports, disabled carpet mode, tried it all. Finally, I gave up and ordered a replacement water pump for $20 on Aliexpress.

The S5 Max is still a very capable machine, but the reasons to consider the S6 MaxV over it are basically these: It has camera and AI powered obstacle avoidance, which is really good at avoiding unexpected items on the floor.

Was going to replace the motherboard but it seems like it isn't worth it. My question is, is this just an issue with the s5? Looking at other vacuums it seems Roborock is the leader but I can't spend 500 every few years.
