I've met Robins' wing chaplain a couple of times and he seems like a good dude. The SrA working there is a great guy, too. Trips out of town with the chapel are usually free.

Macon has a lot of history and is nicknamed the “Heart of Georgia” because it is in the center of GA. Honestly IMO, Macon is pretty ghetto… What happened to Macon is similar to Detroit.. Both places were once thriving industrial cities until their main asset collapsed.

- There are worse places, but here's my biggest complaint with Robins AFB ...If you're ever offered a chance to be stationed at Robins AFB, do whatever you can to get out of it. I whipped up this map real quick. You'll live where the yellow star is and the green lines are distances you'll have to drive to experience anything worthwhile. Note that the shortest line is to Atlanta and that is 101 miles from Warner Robins.
