It expands your crit roll chance so thats good, but it might have the opposite effect and expand your crit failure chance as well, I read conflicting accounts.

But I'm sure that if you put in the effort in SAT/ACTs needed, get good extracurriculars, and find some good recommendation letters, you'll have a chance at an ivy league.

My only first hand account is the difference between the classes I took at Georgia Tech and the classes I TAed at University of Illinois. GT was more rigorous. Also, at GTL, the classes were easier than regular GT classes. The couple non-GT people at GTL remarked how challenging Tech classes were.

And I’m saying this as someone who neither wants to live in Atlanta nor work for FAANG. Just want to get my money’s worth and improve my career as much as possible.
