The small wire in the transformer ,if broken ,seems to be impossible to resolder .
- Reverb and Delay effects : The Steel Guitar ForumReverb\delay was the most tweaked aspect of my rig. However,in the last year I have settled down a bit after I got a Boss RV-6. - Author Topic: Session 400 and Ltd 400 reverb issues - Steel Guitar ForumBest bet then is a new reverb tank. The original was a 2 spring tank, 4EB2C1B by Accutronics. The 9EB2C1B is a three spring upgrade for deeper sounding reverb Also the tank's connection cables are often plugged in backwards at the amp chassis. Works but will add hum and not as good a reverb sound. Also tanks jacks face the speaker
- Author Topic: Nashville 400 reverb - Steel Guitar ForumHere is the ‘Metzger’ mod that brightens the reverb of the Peavey Nashville 400 amp and gives it a more Fender-like reverb sound, a long needed improvement. It also gives the reverb more drive, like a Fender reverb, so you don't have to advance your reverb control so much. 1)Change input cap (C36) from .015uf to .01uf
