Bookmark or Share- Change the default font in Word - Microsoft SupportTo use your favorite font in Word all the time, set it as the default. Go to Home, and then select the Font dialog box launcher at the bottom right corner of the Font group, or press CTRL+D. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Set As Default. Select one of the following:
- Customize or create new styles - Microsoft SupportYou can change the formatting (such as font size, color, and text indentation) in styles applied to titles, headings, paragraphs, lists, and so on. You can also select formatted text in your document to create a new style in the Styles gallery.
- Cloud fonts in Office - Microsoft SupportUse cloud fonts to make sure your slides and documents look the same, no matter where you open them or who else views them. Cloud fonts are fonts hosted in the cloud by Microsoft 365, and are available in the latest versions of Office applications (see the Cloud fonts availability table, below).
- Modify or create headings and other styles - Microsoft SupportStyles in Word allow you to choose the look for headings, regular text, and even callouts or other custom text needs. You'll be able to choose the font, size, color, paragraph alignment, spacing, and more.
- Format text as superscript or subscript in Word - Microsoft SupportTo make text appear slightly above (superscript) or below (subscript) your regular text, you can use keyboard shortcuts. For certain symbols that are almost always superscript, such as ® and ™, simply insert the symbol and it will automatically be formatted as superscript.
