- Inline reels for ice fishingAt 1/32nd oz. weight it's really slow so often I hand pull the line itself. At 1/64th oz. or lighter I have to hand pull the line from a spinning reel anyway so the straight line from the bait casting reel actually sinks faster. If I was planning to camp out, yeah the fly reel comes out or the round reel with the bait clicker selector on.
