Bookmark or Share- Reel spool design and line coil - iceshanty.comHey guys. I know all you ice masters can help me out with this. I am looking into a new spinning reel for one of my ice fishing rods. I have got a good idea on the brand and models I want to choose from thanks to the suggestions I've got on this board. I have one more question though. I can't remember how the spool design affects line coil.
- should I get an in-line reel? - iceshanty.comAn inline reel becomes ineffective and useless when the line freezes bottom line. Spend you all your big money on your rod and reel I don't give a hoot, nor do I care to continue the banter sir. Enjoy your fishing with your inline reels and also your unhappiness towards others opinions.

PS - You don't need to disassemble the reel to remove and flip the trigger. Just. Be cautious not to push the actuator into the reel body. I screwed in the screw a few turns before pressing the lever on, just to be sure.
- Need help with Eagle Claw Inline Reel - iceshanty.comThe other knob adjusts the free spool. The button on the handle spindle engages the free spool, the knob on opposite side of reel allows removal of spool. I didn't like the drag on mine either, seemed like when I got the thing set to were line came off the spool right, the handle would just spin. Mine just sits on the shelf.
