Bookmark or Share- 20 inch bass weight? - GON ForumHow much would a fat 20 inch bass weigh? In my experience, 25 inch redfish are around 9 and 30 inches usually 11 pounds. I would figure a 20 inch fat largemouth to be 7. Am I being too generous?
- Fish in the lower Satlla River - GON ForumPlease do not return any flatheads if you catch them. You should have plenty of bass, cats, and panfish in your section. The only obstacles to catching them will be the tide and the brackish water they feed in. Also should be some redfish and trout not far from you. You defiantly in a great location, you have a choice of fish to choose from.

There is a maze of oyster bars that hold more redfish and black drum, but trout and flounder are in there as well. Z-man, Weedless gulp, and live shrimp on a cork do well there. - Rod for Penn Spinfisher V 3500 Spinning reel - GON ForumI went with a Shimano Sellus 6 foot medium action that was rated for the same line weight in both mono and braid. I will be using this for the Choctahatchee Bay between Destin and Fort Walton for redfish, flounder, and speckle trout. The Spinfisher 3500 feels good and balanced on this rod. Can't wait to get to try it out this year.
