However if you want to go into baffin then follow the channel markers, but if you are staying in the cut there is some good fishing in yarbrough right now, as well as fishing the deeper rocks of rocky slough.

When I do get sucked into going I always make a point to go to Mr. B's. I don't even open the menu. I order a Maker's Mark on the rocks and peruse the wine menu. I usually end up with a Pinot Grigio and then order the Shrimp and Grits.
- 30 Fathom Rocks - 2 Cool Fishing ForumThere are plenty of red snapper on the rocks to go around. I have had to release a lot of red snapper to catch a few vermilions. I don't fish it much. I like to get in a little deeper water than the 30 fathom rocks.
- Fish Finders- Worth it or not in shallow waters?down-scan gives detail whereas traditional does not. if you know how to use it, it's the difference between night and day. it can be used for structure or fish. and side scan in shallow is the cats meow. i'm using the Humminbird SOLIX 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ G3, it's bad to the bone.
- Are big eyed toros good to eat - 2 Cool Fishing ForumI spied a 14 inch Big Eyed Toro hiding among some rocks and decided to point him out to Amy. She spotted him (it wasn't hard being that he is BRIGHT RED among gray rocks) and moved in. After a couple of drive by's, she dove down and WHAMMO! Right in the head. This is her first kill with a spear and I was impressed.
