Bookmark or Share- Bearing Pulse Error with R20X Radar - Cruisers & Sailing ForumsI have an old Raytheon R20X radar, after warming up process it will start for 2 seconds and the array starts to rotate, but after this 2 second, there will be message "Bearing pulse error"!? I have understood, that this might be caused by damaged Bearing pulse generator or damaged Ship's heading marker switch?

- Raytheon RL70C + Chartplotter - Cruisers & Sailing ForumsA non Raytheon GPS will connect via NMEA not seatalk. (seatalk is only used by Raymarine). The power lead for the 12v connection on the RL units has got extra wires for NMEA input. Connect the GPS NMEA output wires with the RL NMEA input wires. You can use a junction box or just join the wires (solder and heat shrink is the most reliable).
