Bookmark or Share- Departments | City of Rancho CordovaThe City Council and 15 city departments and divisions work tirelessly to ensure that our community is a place where anyone can, live, work, learn and play. Together, they work to accomplish the following six citywide goals:
- Council Meeting Agendas, Minutes and Videos | City of Rancho CordovaThe City Council regularly meets on the first and third Monday of every month (except for Mondays that fall on a holiday, in which case the meetings are held on Tuesdays) at 5:30 PM at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive, as well as holds special meetings and workshops as needed.
- Vice Mayor Garrett Gatewood | City of Rancho CordovaVice Mayor Garrett Gatewood was appointed to the City Council on June 5, 2017. He was appointed to the City Council seat left vacant by the passing of longtime City Council Member Dan Skoglund. He was then elected to the City Council in November 2018 and reelected in November 2022.
- Council Member David M. Sander, Ph.D. | City of Rancho CordovaCouncil Member David Sander was elected to the first City Council when the city incorporated in 2003 and reelected in November 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024. He served as Mayor in 2007, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 and as Vice Mayor in 2006, 2011, 2019 and 2023.
- Council Member Joe Little | City of Rancho CordovaJoe is the youngest Council Member in City history and the first-ever elected from the Lincoln Village neighborhood. Joe is a Sacramento County native, growing up in Carmichael and attending Our Lady of the Assumption and Jesuit High School.
