Bookmark or Share- Recommendations for Raja Ampat Liveaboard? | ScubaBoardMy last couple Pacific trips have been to Fiji in areas with tides/current/drift dives all the time at basically 100% of sites, in some cases very strong. From what I've read Raja Ampat has a bit more variety at least, though yeah there will obviously be certain sites that have to be drifts or have lots of current due to their location/layout.

- Current at Raja Ampat? - ScubaBoardRaja Ampat offers a range of things, inlacing a lot more macro than I've seen anywhere in the Caribbean. In Indonesia trip reports mention Lembeh as the place for macro, and in the Philippines I believe Anilao gets attention, but R.A. has quite a bit, and a lot of divers are interested in macro. And not just the pigmy seahorses (which are neat).

In about two years from now, I will get a 6-week sabbatical from work, and I want to take advantage of this potentially once-in-a-lifetime amount of time off to go to Raja Ampat - in late 2021 or early 2022.
